How does the free trial work?: Every plan starts with 30 days free. A card is required to start, but you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then from Settings → Subscription → Manage billing and you pay nothing.
What currency are prices in?: Plans are sold in Canadian or US dollars; switch with the CAD / USD toggle at the top of this page. Canadian customers are charged in CAD plus GST/HST. US customers are charged in USD plus any applicable sales tax.
Can I change plans later?: Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from Manage billing. Changes are prorated, so you only pay the difference.
How does annual billing work?: Pay for the year up front and save compared to paying monthly. The free trial applies to annual plans too.
Is there a mobile app?: Yes. Field staff use the Rental Pilot app on iPhone (App Store) for deliveries, pickups, inspections, and work orders. Android devices are supported too — ask us for the Android app when you start your trial.
Who builds Rental Pilot?: Rental Pilot was built to run SuperSonic Rentals, an equipment rental yard in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and has run its day-to-day operations since 2021.
